Colin Dunlop
Colin undertakes general orthopaedic and trauma surgery, but maintains a special interest in lower limb arthroplasty including revision hip and knee arthroplasty. His operative work includes primary and revision hip and knee arthroplasty, hip and knee arthroscopy and ACL (anterior cruciate ligament) reconstruction.
Colin’s surgical training was undertaken at Aberdeen University Hospitals from August 1997, moving to Raigmore Hospital, Inverness, in 2000.
He joined North Staffordshire Hospital as a hip research fellow in February 2001 and undertook an East of Scotland specialist registrar orthopaedic training rotation from 2002 until 2007.
He moved to Australia briefly in 2007 to undertake a fellowship in trauma and lower limb arthroplasty in Melbourne, before returning to the UK as consultant trauma and orthopaedic surgeon at the Royal Liverpool and Broadgreen University Hospitals until 2011.
Colin joined Jersey General Hospital in 2011.

Make an Appointment
Mr Dunlop welcomes hip and knee referrals. To make an initial appointment with Mr Dunlop we require a referral letter from your GP, we do not accept direct referrals.

Review
Mr Dunlop will review the referral letter to assess priority and to identify whether further imaging is required before he sees you. You will then be sent an appointment by mail.
